Most rural schools in this region are under-resourced. The Vukuzakhe Resource Centre, centrally situated in Himeville, aims to address this lack by providing resources to assist:
- EDUCATORS, by making available materials and teaching aids and contemporary approaches for their lesson preparation, classroom presentations and projects
- LEARNERS by providing study and project materials.
Educators and learners are encouraged to gain familiarity with computers and develop practical experience on the four computers and equipment, the Internet connection and study aids at the Resource Centre. - There is also a Photocopy and Fax machine. Reference books, atlases and other materials are available.
For teachers and learners who must hold classes in schools like this, the Resource Centre is a much-needed facility.
